A physics game made for the Frog Jam inspired by Jump King and Getting Over It.

If it's your first time playing, please talk to the frog NPC.

The goal? Bring the football onto the trophy cup atop "the greatest heights", any mistake will make you lose tremendous amount of progress.

The game is short, spanning entirely on one single level and there are multiple paths you can take to get to the top, or you can make your own path.

Note: I couldn't add all the features I wanted in time like RGB lights for the blocks when you slowly approach the end of the game. Also, there is no desktop version because I don't know how to make it, here's the thread: https://itch.io/t/1764741/how-do-i-port-an-electron-project-to-nwjs-gdevelop

Controls

Left + Right OR A + D = Move

Shift OR Space = Jump

Click or touch anywhere on screen = Shoot a silent energy ball²

Bump into the ball (As Pepe) to knock it. Walking into it whilst it's on the ground will propel it further forward, but giving it a headbutt will send it flying which is required to get past certain obstacles. Create and aim an energy ball² at the football to propel it into the air, so you can give it a proper headbutt.

C key = Bring the camera to the ball, helpful if you lost it somehow and more practical than the DEBUG stats.¹

M key = Mute the game¹

Control keys = Change Pepe's strength¹²

(Title Screen only) Press on the numbered keys to choose which ball you'll use.

1:This is part of the quality of life upgrade and may not exist in previous versions of the game.

2:This control is locked until you speak to the frog NPC.

A good idea for a game but it's a bit frustrating for me because I can barely get the ball to the first flag :(
